Do NOT share or give your Intermex login information with anyone. Notify Intermex Online Fraud department immediately by telephone at  1-866-999-3175 if you believe your Intermex username and password have been lost or stolen or if you think someone is using them without your permission.

Intermex Money Web-Agent On-line Transfer Service are subject to the following terms and conditions and applicable laws.  By accessing and using this Service, you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

INTERMEX’S RESPONSIBILITY

Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC, Intermex Wire Transfer, Corp., and Intermex Wire Transfer II, LLC (collectively known as “Intermex”) takes all reasonable steps to provide money transfer services as instructed by the Sender. Unless otherwise expressly required under the laws of the jurisdiction governing the transaction, neither Intermex nor any of its agents shall be held liable for damages due to the delay, nonpayment or underpayment of the money transfer, the non-delivery of the money transfer, or the non-delivery of any supplemental message, whether caused by negligence on the part of its employees or agents or other representatives, beyond refund of the principal amount of the money transfer and the service fee. In no event shall Intermex, or its agents, be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages.

SENDER’S RESPONSIBILITY

Sender acknowledges and agrees that will provide Intermex with true, accurate, current and complete information, and that will not use Intermex’s money transfer services for or in connection with any prohibited activity. Where applicable, bank account information must be accurate, as the money may not be recoverable if deposited to the wrong account. Intermex reserves the right to require ID from the Sender or the Recipient. Intermex also reserves the right to verify any of the information provided in connection with the transaction. An external service provider may be tasked with the verification of such information. Transactions that require further review due to regulatory issues, may be delayed and reported to applicable authorities. Transactions to certain countries, jurisdictions or payers may be subject to amount limits or additional restrictions. Sender must be 18 years or over to use this service.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE

All currency exchanged under the money transfer service is received by Intermex’s at a rate of exchange. Currency is offered to Sender at the rate of exchange specified on the receipt, and the Recipient will receive the foreign currency amount specified on the receipt. Any difference between the currency exchange rate offered to Sender and the currency exchange rate received by Intermex is property of Intermex. If the Recipient chooses to receive a currency other than the one on your receipt, Intermex is not responsible for the exchange rate applied.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS and ERROR RESOLUTION

You have the right to cancel a money transfer for a full refund within 30 minutes of your payment of the money transfer, unless the funds have been paid to the recipient or deposited into a bank account. You have the right to receive a full refund if payment is not made to the recipient within the available date stated in the receipt. You may also have additional rights provided by the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction where the transaction took place. To request a cancellation visit an Intermex agent, call Customer Service at 800-670-8611 or by fax at 800-670-8584, email customerservice@intermexusa.com, or via regular mail to Intermex Wire Transfer, LLC., 9480 S. Dixie Hwy., Miami, FL 33156. Reimbursement will be for the amount of the money transfer plus the service fee.

All money transfers, which have not been collected by the recipient, will be cancelled after 30 days from the transaction date (or less for certain payers). In the event that a cancelled money transfer is not refunded to the Sender within ninety days of the transaction date, there will be a nonrefundable monthly service charge where permitted by law, of one dollar for each one-hundred dollars or fraction thereof, of the balance of the principal amount, not to exceed forty dollars per month or the maximum amount permitted by law. Starting on January 2017, the service charge will be of one dollar and seventy-five cents per month, not to exceed one hundred and forty-seven dollars or the maximum amount permitted by law. The service charge will be deducted from the balance of the principal amount. The service charge is subject to change without notice. The amount to be reimbursed will be solely the principal amount, without interest, minus the service charge.

You have the right to dispute errors with your money transfer. If you think there is an error, contact Intermex within 180 days from the date of the transaction at 1-800-670-8611 or write to customerservice@intermexusa.com. You may also contact Intermex for a written explanation of your rights. You also have the right to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) at 1-855-411-2372, 1-855-729-2372 (TTY/TDD) or www.consumerfinance.gov and submit a question or complaint about Intermex.

FRAUD PREVENTION

Beware of scams perpetrated by dishonest individuals asking you to send money. If you suspect that you may be a victim of a scam or fraud, call Intermex at 1-800-792-8017 and contact law enforcement.
